Frequently asked questions
How it works, what it costs, and what happens after your trial, answered directly.
The basics
What is Levragd?
Levragd is an AI content department for solopreneurs, small businesses, and content teams: your content department without the org chart. Give it your website, product details, and brand guidelines, and it builds a working model of your business, then uses that model to find content opportunities and create the content itself: articles, social posts, emails, and more. Instead of hiring a manager, a writer, a strategist, and an editor separately, you get one system that covers the ground a small content team would.
Does Levragd guarantee results?
No. Levragd helps you create content, but it can’t guarantee any business outcome, such as traffic, leads, or sales. Results depend on many factors outside anyone’s control, and AI-generated drafts can contain mistakes, so you review and approve everything before it’s published. See the Terms of Service for details.
Who is Levragd for?
Anyone who needs consistent, on-brand content but doesn’t have (or doesn’t want) a full content team to produce it:
- Solopreneurs and founders who know their business but don’t have time to write about it
- Small businesses that need more content than one marketer can produce alone
- Content teams that want more output without adding headcount
What does Levragd actually do?
Levragd covers the range of work a content department handles:
- Content strategy: figuring out what to say and why it matters to your audience
- Content creation: articles, social posts, newsletters, FAQs, and more
- SEO and GEO: checking drafts for search intent, topical coverage, and how well they answer real questions
- Quality check and revision: checking drafts against your brand voice, terminology, and facts, then revising them with the recommendations you choose
- Repurposing: turning one idea into multiple formats and channels
You bring the business context; Levragd turns it into a working content operation.
Is Levragd an AI tool or a human content team?
Levragd is AI-powered software, not a staffing agency. The AI does the heavy lifting: researching your business, spotting content opportunities, and drafting content. You can then run a quality check against your brand voice, terminology, and facts, and revise the draft with the recommendations you choose, before anything goes out. You stay in control: reviewing every change, editing, and publishing whatever the tool produces. Think of it as a fast, well-informed first draft, not a black box that ships content without your say. If you want a person in the loop, a limited number of clients also get personal editorial review from Levragd’s founder through Levragd Concierge.

How does working with Levragd work?
It starts with your website and business details, which Levragd uses to build a model of your company, audience, and voice. From there:
- Levragd surfaces content opportunities based on that model
- You pick what to create, or let it suggest a starting batch
- Levragd drafts the content. You can run a quality check against your brand voice and facts, then revise it with the recommendations you choose
- You review, edit if needed, and publish
No onboarding calls or briefing documents required to get your first batch of content.
How it fits your team
Can Levragd replace an in-house content team?
It depends on your stage. If you don’t have a content team, Levragd can function as your whole content department, handling strategy, creation, and quality checks end to end. If you already have a team, it works differently: as extra capacity that takes on brainstorming, drafting, and repurposing, so your team can focus on strategy and final polish. Either way, the goal is more output without the cost or time of building a department from scratch.
How is Levragd different from hiring freelancers or an agency?
Freelancers and agencies are great, but they come with real overhead: onboarding, briefing, revision cycles, and turnaround that depends on someone else’s availability. Levragd keeps a persistent model of your business, so you don’t re-explain context every time, and it covers strategy, writing, and quality review in one place instead of coordinating multiple vendors. It’s not about replacing every outside expert. It’s about having a baseline content capability that doesn’t disappear when a contract ends. See the full comparison.
How is Levragd different from using ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant that can write good content when you give it good instructions. Levragd is built for running a content operation: it builds a lasting model of your brand, suggests what to write next, drafts it, checks it against your brand voice and facts, revises it with the recommendations you choose, and tracks each piece through to published. If you only need occasional help with writing, a general assistant may be enough. See the full comparison.
Can Levragd work with my existing team, tools, and workflows?
Yes. Levragd is built to fit into how you already work, not replace it. Designers, marketers, developers, and product teams can all use what it produces as a starting point rather than a fixed deliverable. It doesn’t require migrating to a new CMS or changing your publishing process. You get drafts and strategy you can drop into whatever tools and workflows your team already uses.
Pricing & billing
How much does Levragd cost?
You can try Levragd free, with up to 20 generations and no credit card required, so you can see what it creates before paying anything. Paid plans start at $99/mo for Desk (75 generations/month), with a $349/mo Newsroom plan (300 generations/month) for teams that need more volume. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. See the full comparison for what’s included at each level. Levragd Concierge, which adds personal editorial review from the founder, is a separate, application-based offer. See how it works.
Is there a human-in-the-loop option?
Yes. Levragd Concierge adds personal editorial review from Levragd’s founder, Christopher Vigneron, on top of the software: up to 10 reviews a month, plus a monthly Founder Review. It’s application-based and limited to a small number of clients. Learn more about Concierge.
How is a generation counted?
Each of these counts as one generation, no matter how much comes back in the response:
- Building or regenerating your Brand DNA
- Generating a batch of content opportunities
- Creating content for one opportunity
- Revising or regenerating a piece of content
- Running a quality check on a piece of content
- Suggesting another use for a piece of content
Repurposing draws from a separate, smaller pool during your free trial (2 batches, not part of the main 20); on paid plans everything shares one monthly pool.
Example: publishing your first piece typically takes about 4 generations: 1 to build your Brand DNA (a one-time setup step), 1 to generate a batch of opportunities, 1 to create content from the one you pick, and 1 to run a quality check before publishing. Each piece after that usually costs 2 (create + check), since your Brand DNA and opportunity batch are already in place. Each revision adds 1 more.
What happens when I run out of generations?
If you’re on the free trial and use up your 20 generations, you’ll need to upgrade to Desk or Newsroom to keep going. There’s no top-up option before that. If you’re already on a paid plan and run out mid-cycle, you don’t have to upgrade to get unblocked: you can buy a bundle of 25 generations for $39, any time you need one. There’s no limit on how many you can buy, and each one adds to your existing balance. It’s priced as a quick top-up, not a substitute for more capacity. If you’re regularly running out, moving up to Newsroom works out cheaper per generation. Unlike your plan’s monthly allowance, bundle generations don’t expire or reset when your plan renews. They stick around until you use them.
What happens to unused generations when I change plans?
Generations don’t carry over when you change plans. Whether you’re upgrading from the free trial or switching between paid plans, you get your new plan’s full allowance right away (Desk starts you at 75 generations, Newsroom at 300), regardless of what you had left before. There’s no proration or partial credit involved; it keeps billing simple, and you’re never left short after a change.
How do I cancel my Desk or Newsroom plan?
You can cancel anytime from Settings. Click Cancel your plan (or Manage billing) to open Stripe’s secure billing portal, then follow the cancel flow there. Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period, so you keep full access until then.
